ITALY: DAY 2.1

After leaving Pisa we went into the heart of Tuscany to a quaint little estate called Casa Cornacchi.



Not too shabby!



We were all really hungry from our travels.



After lunch it was time for a ride up into the countryside.

 I had a great ride this evening.  It was one of those rides where I was feeling no pain and it just felt good to go super hard ... and then go harder.  I haven't had a ride like this in at least a month and it felt great!  I was able to snap a couple of pics along the way with the sun setting behind the Flat Irons.

INTERESTING CREATURE

I spotted this fellow in the driveway one morning.  Then he was spotted by my wife in the evening going the other direction.  We think he was making the daily commute.
