THEY'RE HERE!

I'm guessing this is the most photographed car wash in Lyons, possibly even all of Colorado. The artist took the idea of little green men a bit far, but at least they are keeping it green in their recycled space craft!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILY!

Pretty cute for a 10-year-old.

WEEKEND WANDERING

It was a great day for a long ride over the weekend. I was able to snap a couple of pictures on the way down to a wonderful dinner in the south-land. This looks quite cold. The pups looking very noble. I even got to see the elusive "Fuzzy".

THE END

No, not the end of the blog already. Just the end. "The end" has several meanings. For cars it means they have driven their last mile. For people it means we have taken our last step. But for pavement, the end is a great and wonderful thing.

THE BEGINNING

It is a gloomy day here in Colorado, perfect timing for beginning a blog that I have been meaning to create for quite some time. Many people I meet inspire me daily, but I owe the start of this blog to a man I have never met, a man from the same neck of the woods where I grew up – Minnesota. This blog will have a similar theme to his since we share some of the same interests, namely long, exploratory rides and taking pictures along the way. He goes by the name of Gnat and I will post a link to his blog for you. I hope you enjoy the images on this blog, most of which have been and will be taken during rides on my Salsa Fargo. It is a great bike and just looking at it inspires me to ride long and smile.
