PICTURE FOR THE DAY

Getting a good crisp picture of coyotes on the move from 200 yards in low light proved difficult.

TUMBLEWEED

Sometimes it would be nice to be a tumbleweed.  I could ride wherever the wind takes me and never have to fight my way into it.  But then again, I might end up stuck in a barbed wire fence.

The winds were howling up high in Rocky Mountain National Park causing the snow to blow off the peaks for miles.  The low sun was also creating interesting colors in the cloud in the left of the picture.

SNOW RIDE

 I had a fun, but very difficult, ride in the snow today.  With every pedal stroke my feet dipped into the snow. It was a beautiful day to be out.  There weren't many distractions. I made sure I had enough time for a self portrait.

I MISS...

I miss rides like this.  No snow.  Warm.
