FILM vs DIGITAL

One interesting feature of film is that even though certain parts of a photo might be blown out and overexposed, the image is still mostly there.  For example, take the below picture.  The mountains and sky are fried. But, with some post processing you can bring that back and turn it into a much more usable picture.  With digital, once something is blown out, it is typically digitally gone.
