FENCES

WIND

It was super windy again today.  At least that makes for fewer people on the trails!

GREAT RIDE

I had a great ride this evening.  It was one of those rides where I was feeling no pain and it just felt good to go super hard ... and then go harder.  I haven't had a ride like this in at least a month and it felt great!  I was able to snap a couple of pics along the way with the sun setting behind the Flat Irons.

A TIME TO REFLECT

PICTURE FOR THE DAY

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

PICTURE FOR THE DAY

Thanks CHL for taking another great picture!  You have so many skills!

THE DRIVE TRAIN

This is the drive train on the new Spot.  Genius!

DREAM BIKE

Well, here it is, a bike worthy of dreams.  The Spot Rocker Ti, with the Gates Carbon Drive.  This bike truly rides like a dream!  Thanks CHL for taking the picture!

FARGO CABIN

PICTURE FOR THE DAY

This tree is on the downwind side of the lake in the previous post.  It has lived a difficult life.  Notice how the bark has literally been blown off the west facing surfaces.

WHY I RIDE A FARGO...

Why do I ride a Fargo?  Because it can take me anywhere.  While riding up Lefthand Canyon I passed a couple of roadies and one of them commented, "We just got passed by a mountain bike ... no wait ... what is that?"  After climbing up the pavement I descended down the rocky 4x4 road pictured.

BEEN AWHILE

Hello blog readers.  It has been awhile since I've had any posts.  Things have been a bit busy and the blog has slipped down the priority list.  But, I have still been riding and taking pictures as you will see with the string of posts coming.  Even The Wife will have some of her pictures show up on the blog! I have acquired a couple of new toys recently.  The first is a new set of frame bags for the Fargo.  In case it wasn't awesome enough, now it is awesomer!  The second is a new bike!  Watch upcoming posts for the details.
